The Golden Swan is a New York Bistro neighborhood restaurant in the heart of the West Village, set in the storied space that was formerly The Spotted Pig. We serve thoughtfully-made and comforting staples with the ease of a place people are genuinely glad to walk into. We take food and hospitality seriously while keeping the room warm and welcoming.

This is a moment of real momentum for us. We're a dynamic, newly revitalized team of professionals — investing in structure, training, and leadership — and we're looking for people who want to grow with us as we build.

As a Host, you are the first and last impression of The Golden Swan. You set the tone for every guest's experience — greeting warmly, managing the flow of the room, and making sure that from the moment someone walks in to the moment they leave, they feel looked after. You'll work closely with our management and service teams to keep every service running smoothly.

We're hiring for both full-time and part-time positions.

• Greet and seat guests warmly, setting the tone for a memorable experience
• Manage reservations, waitlists, and seating flow using our reservation platform
• Answer phones and respond to reservation inquiries with professionalism and warmth
• Coordinate with servers, bartenders, and management to optimize table turns and pacing
• Accommodate special requests, guest preferences, and VIP or repeat guests with care
• Maintain an organized, welcoming host stand and entryway
• Handle guest questions and concerns gracefully, escalating to management when needed
• Support a positive, professional team environment

• Prior restaurant or hospitality experience (upscale a plus)
• A genuine, warm hospitality instinct — you like taking care of people
• Strong communication and organizational skills; calm under pressure during a busy service
• Comfort with reservation/POS systems (Resy, OpenTable, Tock, or similar) or the ability to learn quickly
• Availability for evenings and weekends
• Professional presentation and a positive, team-first attitude
• Reliability and punctuality
