Our client, a global Japanese trading company is looking for a Network Engineer in the Houston TX or New York NY area to join their team

Title: Network Engineer
Industry: Renewables Trading
Type: Full Time Direct Hire Exempt
Location: Houston TX or New York NY
Salary: 100-110K (TX), 120-130K (NY)

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 4-7 years of System/Network Engineering Experience
• 2-4 years of Project Management Experience
• Bachelor’s degree is preferred
• Technical knowledge, analytical, design and planning skills
• Japanese language skill a plus

JOB DUTIES:

• Develop and lead IT infrastructure related technological projects for clients
• Arrange and implement network, security, and some other IT infrastructure related project
• Design, implement, and refine product development
• Data Center management such as colocation service management and maintenance
• Designing, implementation and operation experience in Router, Switch, MPLS, SASE, SD-WAN / SD-LAN and VPN
