Junior architect
Job Summary
We are seeking a Junior Architect to join a well-established, family-owned architecture firm on Long Island for a long term, career opportunity. The successful candidate must be proficient in AutoCAD and Revit and comfortable in a full-time drafting position.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Project Managers and other staff to understand design requirements and project goals.
- Prepare working drawings, sections, elevations, and detailed construction documents.
- Review and revise designs based on feedback from team members and clients.
- Conduct site visits when required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree in Architecture.
- 2+ years of architecture experience working on commercial/multifamily projects.
- Ability to produce construction documents independently.
- Proficient in AutoCAD.
- Working knowledge in REVIT.
- Experience working on new construction projects.
Salary: $65,000 - $80,000
