Key Responsibilities of the RN - ED- Emergency Department - Travel

• Identify and intervene in life-threatening situations
• Provide quality patient care and assess patient needs
• Recognize safety issues and implement safe practices for patient movement
• Function well in stressful situations and employ problem-solving skills
• Assume charge nurse duties as required

Requirements of the RN - ED- Emergency Department - Travel

• Current NYS RN license required
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• PALS certification required or obtained within 6 months of hire/transfer
• MEDITECH experience required
• Travel experience required
• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing
• Lethal dysrhythmia exam and defibrillation certification within six months of employment
• IV, medication and phlebotomy certification during orientation
