Travel LPN Job Details – Utica, NY

• Location: Utica, NY 13502 (Central New York healthcare jobs)
• Facility Setting: Long Term Care (LTC), 40-bed unit
• Assignment Type: Travel LPN contract
• Start Date: September 2, 2025
• End Date: November 30, 2025
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: 8-hour days (6:30am – 2:30pm), every other weekend required
• Guaranteed Hours: 37.5 hours per week
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1500 - $1540
• Unit Float: Must float to all units within the building
• EMR System: PointClick Care

LPN Qualifications and Requirements

• Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in New York State
• Current BLS certification (American Heart Association preferred)
• Minimum 1 year of LPN experience (long term care or skilled nursing facility experience preferred)
• Ability to float to all units within the long-term care facility
• Strong communication, clinical, and teamwork skills

LPN Responsibilities in Long Term Care

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to residents in a long-term care (LTC) setting
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers
• Monitor, assess, and document patient status and progress using PointClick Care EMR
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to ensure comprehensive resident care
• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) and support their overall well-being
• Float to various units within the building as needed to provide clinical support
• Maintain a safe, supportive, and compliant environment for residents and staff
