ER RN Job Details – Utica, New York

• Assignment Length: 13 weeks (Start: 9/29/2025 – End: 12/27/2025)
• Location: Utica, NY (Central New York, 13502)
• Healthcare Setting: Emergency Department (64 beds, including trauma, psych, and pediatric areas)
• Shift: 12-hour shifts (10:30am – 11:00pm), 36 hours per week
• Employment Type: Travel Nursing / Locum Tenens Contract
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2250 - $2310
• Scrub Color: Navy Blue
• EMR System: EPIC

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active New York Registered Nurse (RN) license (NURSYS verification required)
• Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Room RN experience, including pediatric care
• Charge nurse capability highly preferred
• Previous travel nursing or locum tenens experience preferred
• Current certifications: AHA ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS, TNCC
• Skills checklist matching emergency nursing specialty
• Two recent Emergency Department Charge/Manager RN references
• Valid driver’s license with matching address
• Proficiency with EPIC EMR

ER RN Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality patient care to all age groups (newborn, pediatric, adult, geriatric) in a fast-paced emergency room setting
• Respond to a wide range of emergencies including stroke, sepsis, trauma, myocardial infarction (MI), cardiac arrest, and respiratory failure
• Utilize specialty equipment such as Rapid Infusor and Arctic Sun
• Float to other hospital units as required
• Demonstrate charge nurse leadership as needed
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams
