Compensation
Mount Sinai South Nassau provides a salary range in good faith determination of potential compensation to comply with the New York State law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, education, and hospital need. The salary range listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits. Status : Shift: EVENING SHIFT Department: Patient Access Position Summary Summary: The Cashier for the Accounts Service Department follows the hospital's and department's mission to meet its objectives in maximizing reimbursement for services provided and ensuring timely cash flow. He/she also strives to facilitate patients and/or their families with payments and assist them with financial hardship in the most cost effective means possible. Qualifications Responsibilities: Education Required- Must complete in-house orientation program
- High school graduation or equivalent required.
- Must complete in-house orientation program.
- Speaks, reads and writes English
- Good interpersonal skills.
- Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) worn
- Extensive periods of time sitting.
- Extensive periods of time using a computer.
