Cleaner

SKJ Facilities Management has been a leading provider of cleaning services in the Southern Tier for over 25 years; offering permanent employment opportunities in a supportive and safe environment. We are currently seeking a dedicated Cleaner in Bath . As a Cleaner, you will play a vital role in ensuring the cleanliness and upkeep of various facility areas, contributing to the overall satisfaction of our customers.

In Bath:

• Monday, Wednesday, Friday - 6PM - 11PM. (worksite is on Rt 54). 15-18 hours per week. Schedule can be adjusted to later in the evening if needed.
• Twice a month on Thursdays 12PM - 4PM. Schedule can be a adjusted to earlier in the day (worksite is in Savona area).
• Must have reliable transportation to get to/from worksites - no public transportation available.

Responsibilities:

• You would work independently on your assigned tasks.
• You would be responsible for properly maintaining and cleaning all assigned facility areas which can include, but not limited to, restrooms, locker rooms, breakrooms, offices, lobbies, conference rooms, and stairwells.
• You would be responsible for competing tasks that include vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, cleaning glass, emptying trash, dusting surfaces, polishing fixtures, sanitizing surfaces, stocking and cleaning dispensers.
• You would be asked to work a consistent, regular schedule, supporting your fellow employees as well as the company's customer by creating a clean environment.
• Other tasks as assigned.

Qualifications / Requirements:

• Bring honesty and integrity to the work that you do.
• Ability to work independently.
• Must have the desire to perform detailed cleaning duties. Prior cleaning or related experience is preferred. Training is provided.
• Must have the physical ability to lift up to 40 pounds and have the stamina to be able to stand for long periods, walk, bend, twist, climb stairs, and reach high and low during your shift.
• Must be able to work with cleaning chemicals, cleaning equipment, and tools to complete assigned tasks.
• Must comply with all proper safety policies and procedures to include wearing of necessary PPE provided by SKJ which can include disposable gloves, hat, safety glasses, ear protection, and steel toe shoes.
• Must be able to read and write in English in order to read work related information and complete checklists.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must have reliable transportation to/from work.
