Japanese bank seeks a Japanese Bilingual Loan Staff.

Location: NYC (Manhattan)
Employment Type: Direct Hire, Non-exempt
*Hybrid (50% On-site, 50% Remote)
Salary Range: $50,000–$60,000 annually (Hourly equivalent based on 35-hour workweek)

Working Hours: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM (1-hour lunch break)

Position Overview
This role supports Japanese corporate clients in our loan service operations. The ideal candidate will assist with loan documentation, interest calculations, and related administrative duties—all within a bilingual environment where clear communication and financial accuracy are essential.

Key Responsibilities:
●Assist with loan documentation, contract preparation, and amendments
●Calculate interest rates and handle other financial details accurately
●Communicate with internal stakeholders and Japanese corporate clients
●Provide administrative and operational support to loan officers
●Review Japanese-language documents for accuracy and completeness

Qualifications:
●Japanese: Business-level proficiency (required)/ Must be able to read, write and speak in Japanese
●English: Business-level proficiency
●Prior experience in banking or financial institutions
●Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
●Strong communication ability and a team-oriented mindset
●Understanding of financial calculations (e.g., interest rate computation)
●Ability to process and review contractual documents
●Experience handling legal or financial documentation in a bilingual environment
●Proficiency in preparing, verifying, and revising loan-related contracts and term
