We’re seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) with Medical-Surgical (MedSurg) experience to join the night shift team in Rome, New York . The ideal nurse provides exceptional patient-centered care, demonstrates strong assessment and critical thinking skills, and works collaboratively in a fast-paced acute care environment.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to adult and geriatric patients with medical or post-surgical needs
- Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and assess patient progress
- Collaborate with physicians and the care team to coordinate individualized treatment plans
- Educate patients and families on recovery, medications, and discharge instructions
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the EMR system
Requirements
- Current New York RN License
- Minimum 1 year of recent Medical-Surgical or Acute Care experience
- Active BLS certification (ACLS preferred)
- Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills
