Quality Technician
A Quality Technician is needed for one of the world's largest suppliers of aerospace and defense products in the Medford, NY area. This role is focused on managing non-conformances, analyzing production data, and bridging the gap between engineering and manufacturing to drive continuous improvement and process excellence. location: Medford, New York

salary: $25.00 - 31.86 per hour
work hours: 8am to 5pm
education: Bachelors responsibilities:
- Managing and resolving non-conformance issues in products or processes.
- Evaluating and visualizing quality data, specifically First Pass Yield (FPY).
- Advising production teams on quality standards during line setup and optimization.
- Coordinating and facilitating the resolution of quality issues on the shop floor.
- Acting as a primary liaison between Production, Purchasing, and Engineering departments.
- Strategically developing inspection procedures within the value stream.
- Supporting development projects to implement error-prevention measures.
- Leading and coordinating quality-related improvement projects.
- Implementing and maintaining company-specific quality processes.
- Assisting the Quality Manager with management system evaluations.
- Experience and training in the field of Quality.
- Professional experience in the manufacturing industry in the field of Quality.
- strong knowledge of MS Office Applications.
- Diploma or University degree of applied sciences.
- Master technician, graduate engineer in a technical field.
- Experience level: Experienced
