Travel Nurse RN - Stepdown

Job Description & Requirements

? Location: 1468 Madison Ave, New York, NY 10029

? Schedule:

• Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
• Days: 3x12s/week (Every other weekend + one 4th shift/month)

? Job Responsibilities Include:

• Deliver relationship-centered, evidence-based care using the nursing process.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop individualized patient care plans.
• Educate patients and families on care plans, transitions, and health promotion.
• Participate in bedside shift reports, hourly rounding, medication reviews, and discharge planning.
• Escalate safety or care concerns per hospital protocol.
• Accurately document in EPIC (preferred).
• Assist with charge nurse duties and throughput when needed.

Requirements:

• Active NYS RN License
• BSN Required
• Minimum 2 years Stepdown experience in a hospital setting
• Experience with vents and trachs required
• BLS certification (active)
• EPIC experience highly preferred
• Travel RN experience (minimum 1 year) preferred but not required
