AI Engineer

Paychex North America, Inc. seeks AI Engineer (Rochester, NY) Job Duties: Develop and implement artificial intelligence solutions that enhance internal corporate services, client facing applications, and improve customer experiences.Duties include: * Design, develop, and implement machine learning and deep learning models to address various challenges and build out AI functionality for our clients. * Design, develop, and NLP complex models to address various challenges and build out AI functionality for our clients. * Train, validate, and fine-tune AI models using state-of-the-art techniques and libraries, and assess their performance using appropriate metrics. * Design and build AI agentic platforms to host AI agents and multiple tools. * Design AI agents that address different Paychex needs. * Deploy AI models into production environments, collaborate with DevOps and IT teams to ensure seamless integration, and monitor model performance in real-time. * Stay up to date with the latest advancements in AI and financial technology and apply innovative solutions to solve complex HR and Payroll problems. * Lead creation of data analytics capability for identifying key performance drivers and action plans to continuously improve performance and competitiveness. * Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, software developers, and business analysts, to drive AI initiatives and projects. * Maintain comprehensive documentation of AI models, data pipelines, and processes. All Requirements : Masters degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Data Science, Electronic Engineering, or a related field plus 3 years of experience in developing enterprise software and database solutions. Experience, which may be gained concurrently, must include each of the following: 1. 3 years of experience in cloud platforms (e.g. AWS, Azure, Google Cloud), containerization technologies (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes), and Spark. 2. 3 years of experience in developing Software Solutions, Enterprise Database Solutions, Oracle, MSSQL, Databricks Spark. 3. 2 years of experience in building full stack production ML/ NLP models/LLMs tuned on proprietary data in a financial or fintech setting. 4. 2 years of experience in PyTorch, PyTorch Geometric, Sentence-Transformers. 5. 2 years of experience designing and deploying production-level AI agentic frameworks and agents. 6. 2 years of experience using Langchain AI platforms in production level applications. 7. 2 years of experience in Graph Databases and Graph Machine Learning.
