Reception & Accounts Receivable Clerk:
Clark Companies, a prominent leader in the design and construction of high-end outdoor athletic facilities and a trusted aggregate supplier serving the Central New York region, is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Reception & Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our team in Delhi, NY.Position Overview: This position provides administrative and accounting support to ensure efficient daily operations. This role is well suited for someone who is organized, personable, and comfortable managing administrative and financial tasks.
Key Responsibilities: Answer and route incoming phone calls; Provide general administrative support such as filing, data entry, and maintaining records; Order and manage office supplies; Prepare and send customer invoices and statements; Prepare and record bank deposits and update customer accounts; Address and resolve customer billing inquiries and account dispute;. Month-end general ledger reconciliation of accounts receivable and sales; Work with spreadsheets, reports, and accounting software; Maintain accurate financial records and documentation; Assist with additional duties as assigned
Required Qualifications: Skills & Knowledge: Outstanding communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills; Proficient in Microsoft Office, with strong Excel skills; Experience with QuickBooks, Sage, or similar accounting software preferred; Ability to learn and adapt to new software systems; Ability to multitask and prioritize; High attention to detail and accuracy; Valid driver's license
Experience & Education: High School Diploma or recognized equivalent; Experience in reception, administrative support, or account receivable; Basic understanding of accounting principles preferred
