Position:  Part-Time Live-Out Nanny / Housekeeper (30–40 hours per week depending on candidate preference and skill set)

Location: Brooklyn, New York  Brooklyn

Schedule:Â

• Monday through Friday  with flexibility to build the schedule around the right candidate - Core Hours are at least 1pm-6pm

Compensation: $30–$35 per hour

Warm, professional, and welcoming family in Brooklyn seeking a highly capable nanny / housekeeper to become a steady presence in their home. They have two young children:

• Daughter, age 4
• Son, age 2

Both children attend school full-time and are bright, active, and energetic. Parents both work full-time and are seeking someone who can confidently step into both childcare and household support.

The family also has a small older dog who keeps mostly to himself.

Responsibilities

Childcare (Primary Focus)

• School pick-up
• Safe transportation to and from activities as needed
• Engaging afternoon play and outings
• Planning age-appropriate activities
• Supporting early learning, literacy, numbers, and structured play
• Preparing healthy dinners / meals for the children
• Helping maintain routines until parents return
• Managing sibling dynamics with patience and confidence
• Providing calm, consistent boundaries and structure

Household Support

• Deep cleaning / household upkeep
• Full family laundry (wash, fold, put away)
• General tidying and household reset
• Organizing closets, toys, storage, and household systems
• Grocery shopping and household restocking
• Meal prep for the family (simple items such as rice, pasta, vegetables, proteins, snacks, etc.)
• Taking out trash / recycling as needed
• Package management and household errands

Bonus DutiesÂ

• Occasional dog walking / feeding
• Vendor appointments or home service coordination
