Join our dedicated team at Youth Athletes United as a Karate Zoo Coach! This exciting role involves teaching young children the fundamentals of martial arts while incorporating fun and engaging elements from our unique Karate Zoo program. We focus on using animal characters to make learning martial arts enjoyable for kids aged 2 to 6 years.

As a Karate Zoo Coach, you will lead classes that not only promote physical fitness but also instill essential values such as discipline, respect, and teamwork in a fun, supportive environment. You will have the opportunity to develop strong relationships with children and their families, making a positive impact on their lives.

Whether you are an experienced martial arts instructor or simply passionate about working with children, we encourage you to apply!

THE LOCATION:

Classes are held across schools, parks and recreational centers in Inwood, Bronx, Westchester and Lower Fairfield County, CT. Coaches are expected to travel up to 45 minutes to get to a class location. Mileage reimbursement available for coaches traveling more than 15 miles to a location.

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Experience working with children (professional or volunteer) is preferred, particularly in a coaching or teaching capacity.
• A passion for working with children.
• A love for sports and martial arts, with a desire to inspire young kids.
• Availability to work flexible hours.
• Reliable transportation to travel to various locations.
• Ability to engage and connect with children in a positive way.
• A clean background check is required.
