• Shift: 07:00 - 19:30 (Days)

• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
• Facility: Albany Medical Center (Academic Medical Center)
• Uniform: Navy blue scrubs required

CRITICAL Requirements

MUST HAVE:

• Neuro-Progressive/Stepdown OR ICU experience REQUIRED
  • Years of experience not specified but substantial neuro experience expected
• EPIC experience REQUIRED (non-negotiable)
• 5-bed Med-Surg rotation REQUIRED for ALL
  • All applicants must float to med-surg
• Competency Test: Neuro-Progressive competency exam required upon offer
• Skills Checklist: Must complete upon offer

Certifications:

• RN License required (Active NY or Compact)
• Standard certifications (BLS, ACLS - verify)

Submission & Assessment Requirements

Upon Offer:

• Neuro-Progressive competency exam (must pass)
• Neuro-Progressive skills checklist (must complete)
• EPIC experience verification

At Submission:

• Confirm neuro progressive/stepdown OR ICU experience
• Demonstrate EPIC proficiency
• Willingness to rotate to med-surg patients

Unit Details - Neurology Progressive Care

Unit Focus:

• Neurological patient population
• Progressive care/stepdown level acuity
• Post-acute neuro patient management
• Neuro-specific interventions and monitoring

Floating Requirements:

• 5-bed Med-Surg rotation REQUIRED for ALL nurses
• Must be able to care for medical-surgical patients
• Flexibility across unit assignments expected

Schedule Requirements

• Shift: 07:00 - 19:30 (Days)
• Hours: 36 hours per week
• Special Note: Will accept 8/31 start date for this position only
