Service Technician

We're looking for a dedicated and skilled Service Technician for a leading manufacturer of print finishing equipment, and we need someone who can help our customers keep their machines running smoothly. Responsibilities include maintaining and repairing print finishing equipment (binders, laminators, folders, etc.). Diagnosing and troubleshooting technical issues, both in-person and over the phone. Provide excellent customer service, explaining technical concepts clearly and patiently. Travel to various customer sites in the NYC Tri-State area and for trade shows out of state. If you're a problem-solver with a knack for mechanics and electronics, this is the job for you! Experience with Bindery Equipment is a plus.

salary: $54,080 - $62,400 per year

work hours: 8 AM - 4:30 PM
education: No Degree Required

Responsibilities

• Must have mechanical skills as well electrical experience with the understanding of relays, motors, etc.
• Computer skills are required for emailing customers, viewing service manuals, parts and books.
• When not traveling, office work will include: checking new equipment, rebuilding machines and phone support.
• Must be able to travel locally by car as well as in North America by air.
• Must have a clean driving record.
• Vehicle reimbursement plan is provided.
