Sales Representative
- Identify, qualify, and develop new business opportunities within assigned territories or market segments.
- Present and articulate the technical and commercial value of the company's inspection and detection systems to prospective clients (e.g., security integrators, government agencies, law enforcement, critical infrastructure operators).
- Support direct and indirect sales channels through technical expertise, demonstrations, proof-of-concepts, and solution proposals.
- Prepare and deliver technical proposals, RFP/RFQ responses, and pricing justifications in coordination with sales leadership.
- Act as the primary technical contact for customers during the entire sales cycle, including discovery, evaluation, and post-order follow-up.
- Conduct on-site and virtual product demonstrations and training sessions.
- Translate customer technical requirements into actionable solution designs, ensuring alignment with product capabilities and integration standards.
- Collaborate with engineering and product teams on custom adaptations, application needs, and escalations for complex deployments
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with customers, partners, and industry influencers.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to strategic accounts, anticipating evolving security needs and recommending appropriate technology roadmaps.
- Track customer interactions, feedback, and competitive insights in CRM and relay to internal teams.
- Monitor market trends, competitor products, and regulatory changes affecting security technology procurement.
- Represent the company at trade shows, conferences, and industry events to increase visibility and generate leads.
- Maintain accurate sales forecasts, opportunity pipelines, and activity reports for management review.
- Contribute to development of technical collateral, case studies, and training materials.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Computer Science, or equivalent), Physics, or a related technical discipline.
- Proven experience (5+ years) in technical sales engineering, field sales engineering, or solutions engineering—ideally in security systems, industrial scanning technologies, or complex hardware/software solutions.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong presentation, negotiation, and consultative selling skills.
- Ability to travel internationally and domestically for customer engagements, trade shows, and strategic meetings.
