• Dedicated Therapy Aides to assist with patient care, empowering you to focus on delivering exceptional physical therapy outcomes

As a OT - Hand Therapist, You’ll Achieve Success By:

• Reviewing patient medical history and developing individualized treatment plans
• Diagnosing patients by observing movements and listening to concerns
• Using exercises, stretching, equipment, and manual therapy to manage pain and improve mobility
• Recording patient progress and modifying treatment plans as needed

Occupational Therapist - Hand Therapist Requirements:

• Licensed in NYS as an Occupational Therapist
• Excellent work ethic and dedication to patient success
• Basic computer skills
• CPR and first aid certification required

• Certified Hand Therapist (CHT)strongly preferred OR

  • CHT-eligible (minimum 4,000 hours of hand therapy experience and 3 years of practice ), awaiting board examination , OR

  • Level II fieldwork in hand therapy , with relevant continuing education , and 1–2 years of outpatient hand therapy experience as a licensed OT, OR

  • Level II fieldwork experience in hand therapy completed as part of an accredited Occupational Therapy program, with demonstrated clinical competency in upper extremity rehabilitation and a strong interest in pursuing hand therapy specialization
• Experience treating orthopedic upper-extremity conditions across all age groups
