Senior Diesel Mechanic

- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues on heavy machinery and construction equipment.
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections on a variety of equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Repair or replace defective parts and components as necessary to ensure safety and reliability.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair work performed on equipment.
- Assist in training and mentoring junior mechanics and apprentices in best practices.
- Collaborate with project managers to schedule machine repairs and maintenance to minimize downtime.
- Ensure all work is completed in compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Experience and manual dexterity using hand tools and other equipment is needed
- Excellent work ethic, listening, problem-solving, and communication skills are desired
- Associate’s degree from a vocational program, technical school, or community college is preferred - ASE certification is a big bonus
- A valid driver’s license is necessary
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required
