Anaplan Model Builder / Developer

We are seeking a skilled and ex perienced Anaplan Model Builder / Developer to design, develop, and support Anaplan solutions for incentive compensation management, performance reporting, analytics, planning, budgeting, and forecasting. This role partners closely with business and technical stakeholders to deliver scalable, integrated, and user-friendly Anaplan models within the insurance industry.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and challenge requirements, translating them into effective Anaplan solutions
• Design, develop, and implement Anaplan applications, including complex data models, calculations, and dashboards
• Build new Anaplan models and enhance existing models in an integrated and optimized manner
• Maintain and optimize current Anaplan models to improve automation, data integration, performance, and user experience
• Capture and deliver requirements for new or enhanced functionality across Anaplan use cases
• Perform testing, debugging, and performance tuning of Anaplan applications
• Provide ongoing technical and application support and troubleshooting for Anaplan solutions
• Stay current with Anaplan platform features and enhancements and proactively recommend improvements
• Collaborate with Finance, IT, Data, and other cross-functional teams to ensure seamless system integration
• Document technical specifications, model designs, configurations, and development standards
• Support governance, scalability, and best practices for Anaplan solutions

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of hands-on Anaplan experience
• At least 3 Anaplan implementations , with a focus on incentive compensation and revenue models
• Extensive experience building and maintaining Anaplan models
• Strong knowledge of enterprise performance management (EPM) processes, including:
• Incentive compensation management
• Performance reporting and analytics
• Planning, budgeting, and forecasting
• Ability to design end-to-end, integrated solutions
• Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to constructively challenge requirements and improve manual processes
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively in a team environment
• Proven ability to document complex models and processes professionally
• Passion for delivering a high-quality user experience

• Anaplan certification (Model Builder, Solution Architect, or higher) preferred

Location: New York, NY

Pay Rate: $75-100 per hour
