Radiology Tech – CT Tech in Rochester, NY, Travel - Temporary Assignment. Start date 09/14/2026 for a 17-week assignment. Earn 3,248 to 3,371 per week with a 4x10-hour night shift schedule (9:30 p.m. – 8:00 a.m. EST), Monday and Thursday coverage, with on-call, callback, and holiday coverage as needed. Responsibilities
- Confirm patient identity and exam verification prior to initiating the scan; adhere to department policy and patient safety procedures.
- Coordinate with physicians to provide diagnostic imaging results and ensure appropriate exam protocols.
- Prepare patients for scans, explain the procedure, and address questions to help ease anxiety.
- Insert IVs when necessary for the test and ensure proper line care per protocol.
- Position patients for CT imaging, using safe patient handling techniques including assistance with mobility as needed.
- Maintain accurate patient records in EPIC, document all required components, ensure correct image labeling, and verify PACS submission post-exam.
- Keep the scanning area clean and organized, upholding safety and infection control standards.

Requirements
- Completion of formal training in an approved School of Radiologic Technology.
- ARRT Certification in Radiography with CT specialty; NYS licensure required prior to starting.
- BLS (American Heart Association); current at start date.
- Two (2) years’ CT technologist experience; Level I Trauma Center experience preferred.
- Injection certification preferred and willing to complete during orientation.
- Proficiency with Philips and Siemens CT equipment; Epic experience highly desired.
- Strong communication skills, patient-centered approach, and ability to work as part of a cohesive team.
