TLC Nursing Associates, Inc. is seeking a dedicated RN – Medical-Surgical (Med Surg) for travel assignments . Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients with diverse medical and surgical conditions.
- Monitor vital signs, administer medications, and assess patient progress .
- Assist with wound care, IV therapy, and post-operative recovery .
- Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and interdisciplinary teams .
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans and post-hospital care .
- Recognize and respond to changes in patient conditions and medical emergencies .
- Document patient care and maintain accurate medical records.
- Travel to various healthcare facilities for temporary assignments .
Qualifications
- Education: Active Registered Nurse (RN) license .
- Experience: Minimum 1-2 years in a Medical-Surgical unit .
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS preferred.
- Skills: Proficiency in medication administration, patient assessment, and critical thinking .
- Physical Requirements: Ability to work 12-hour shifts and handle physically demanding tasks .
- Travel Readiness: Open to temporary travel assignments .
