Bar Bianchi, owned and operated by Golden Age Hospitality—the group behind Le Dive, The Nines, The Happiest Hour, Deux Chats, and more—is seeking an experienced Lead Bartender to join our team.
Bar Bianchi is a bustling Italian-inspired restaurant and bar focused on traditional Italian dishes, natural wine, spritzes, Negroni variations, and warm, energetic hospitality.
We are looking for a skilled bartender and natural leader with at least three years of experience in a high-volume cocktail bar, restaurant, or nightlife setting. This role will support the GM and AGM in overseeing bar service, training the team, maintaining operational standards, and managing key administrative responsibilities.
Our goal is to create an environment that feels fun, effortless, and unpretentious while delivering a memorable New York dining experience. The Lead Bartender should confidently connect with regulars, first-time guests, hospitality industry peers, and the broader team.

ResponsibilitiesService and Leadership
Prepare and serve cocktails, beer, wine, and spirits with consistency and efficiency
Deliver warm, attentive, and knowledgeable guest service
Lead bartenders and barbacks during service in partnership with the GM and AGM
Monitor service standards, staff performance, and the overall organization of the bar
Learn and execute key-holder, closing, and end-of-night responsibilities
Address guest concerns professionally and uphold company standards in all interactions
Contribute to a positive, respectful, and team-oriented work environment
Inventory, Ordering, and Operations
Complete a full bar inventory once per month
Complete weekly by-the-glass wine, beer, and back-bar ordering needs
Submit weekly ordering information to the Corporate Bar Administrator
Monitor product levels, waste, receiving, storage, and transfers
Ensure opening, closing, cleaning, and operational checklists are completed
Oversee syrup, garnish, and batch production
Maintain a clean, organized, stocked, and service-ready bar
Communication and Administration
Prepare a weekly Week-in-Review for the bar team covering service feedback, ingredient updates, operational priorities, and goals
Communicate product, maintenance, staffing, and operational needs to the GM, AGM, and corporate team
Update and proofread beverage menus in partnership with the GM and William Elliott
Maintain and update internal beverage recipes with the GM, AGM, and corporate team
Training and Product Knowledge
Maintain strong knowledge of all food, cocktails, spirits, beer, and wine
Serve as a role model for product knowledge, preparation, service, and hospitality
Train bartenders and barbacks on recipes, procedures, service standards, and brand expectations
Participate in team meetings, tastings, continued education, and required administrative work
Provide clear, constructive, and timely feedback to the bar team
Safety and Compliance
Uphold Department of Health, responsible alcohol service, workplace safety, and company standards
Follow and reinforce safety protocols for guests and staff
Obtain the NYC Department of Health Food Protection Certificate within one month of starting
Qualifications
At least three years of bartending experience in a high-volume cocktail bar, restaurant, or nightlife venue
Previous Lead Bartender, Head Bartender, or supervisory experience preferred
Strong knowledge of classic cocktails, spirits, beer, and wine
Experience with natural wine, Italian spirits, spritzes, and aperitivo culture is a plus
Experience with inventory, ordering, batching, menus, and recipe management preferred
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
Ability to multitask and remain composed under pressure
Night, weekend, and holiday availability required
New York City hospitality experience preferred
