Project Manager
job summary:
A Project Manager is needed for a manufacturing company considered one of the world's leading innovators in materials science in the Painted Post, NY area. This role will be the high-level functional lead for a massive OneStream implementation, bridging the gap between Finance and IT to modernize financial reporting and budgeting.

responsibilities:
- Lead the end-to-end implementation of OneStream's Finance application.
- Direct a large-scale finance transformation initiative.
- Drive project planning, execution, monitoring, and reporting.
- Liaise between Finance, IT, system integrators, and external vendors.
- Facilitate requirements gathering and process design for financial close and consolidation.
- Standardize planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
- Ensure alignment with accounting standards and internal controls.
- Manage project scope, timeline, budget, and risk mitigation.
- Oversee functional design reviews, UAT, training, and deployment.
- Champion change management to ensure high user adoption.
- Provide executive-level status updates and senior leadership briefings.
- Proven experience managing large-scale finance application implementations, preferably including OneStream.
- strong functional knowledge of finance processes such as close, consolidation, planning, budgeting, and reporting.
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional and geographically distributed teams.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
- Bachelor's degree required. MBA or equivalent preferred with Finance concentration.
- 10+ years of experience in Finance, Financial Systems, or Finance Transformation roles.
- PMP certification (preferred/ideal) or equivalent project management credential.
