Description:
- This position involves overseeing nursing practices and staff in a healthcare setting located in Astoria, NY.
- It requires full-time commitment, including weekdays and occasional weekends.
- Strong leadership and communication skills are essential, along with a solid understanding of nursing processes and patient care management.
Requirements:
- Demonstrated leadership and management skills.
- Ability to provide physical and psychological support to patients.
- Proficient in developing and implementing nursing care plans.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Proficient in using general office software.
- Available to be on call 7 days per week as needed.
Qualifications:
- BSN completion required.
- Master’s degree preferred.
- Valid NYS RN license.
- NPI Number.
- Medicaid/Medicare Number preferred.
- Experience in counseling and teaching preferred.
- Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
