Line Cook
As a Line Cook, you are responsible for preparing and cooking menu items according to established recipes, standards, and service timelines. This role operates as part of a fast-paced kitchen team, ensuring consistency, quality, and cleanliness while maintaining efficient workflow during service. Line cooks must be detail-oriented, organized, and able to perform under pressure while upholding food safety and kitchen standards. Key Responsibilities
Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes, portion controls, and presentation standards Set up and stock assigned stations with necessary supplies and ingredients (mise en place) Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation throughout shifts Ensure all food is prepared and served in a timely manner during service Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines, including proper food handling and storage(Food handlers license preferred) Communicate effectively with chefs and team members to coordinate orders and service flow Monitor food quality and report any inconsistencies or issues to kitchen leadership Assist with receiving, storing, and rotating inventory (FIFO) Support opening and closing duties, including prep, breakdown, and cleaning Maintain equipment and report any maintenance needs Adapt to changing menus, specials, and kitchen procedures Core Skills & Qualifications
Basic knowledge of cooking techniques, knife skills, and kitchen equipment Ability to work in a high-volume, fast-paced environment Strong attention to detail and consistency Team-oriented with clear communication skills Understanding of food safety practices and sanitation standards Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays
