Travel Registered Nurse EP Lab Job

Overview
Registered Nurse – Electrophysiology (EP) Lab in Rochester, NY. Start date: 09/14/2026 for a travel, temporary assignment spanning Weeks (variable) with a weekly pay range of $2,830–$2,930 per week. Shift: 4x10 Days. No guaranteed hours. This is a hospital-based EP lab role supporting adult and geriatric patients.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in the EP Lab for adults/geriatrics undergoing electrophysiology procedures (e.g., ablations, cardiac mapping, conduction studies)
- Assist with device care including pacemaker and AICD insertion and programming; peri-procedural support and post-procedural care
- Scrub for procedures and provide procedural support; Micropace monitoring for ablations
- Vascular access and sheath management: phlebotomy, IV insertion, sheath removal, topical hemostasis
- Post-procedure monitoring and acute care responsibilities: administer medications per protocol, ACT monitoring, sedation monitoring
- Chart in Epic; accurate documentation of procedures, patient status, and device information
- Port/PICC care as needed; collaborate with EP team to ensure patient safety and sterile technique
- Float permitted within assigned EP lab for coverage; no weekend/holiday/call requirements

Requirements
- NY RN license in good standing; pending license may be acceptable per recruiter confirmation
- Minimum 2 years of EP Lab experience; prior charge nurse experience preferred
- ACLS and BLS certifications required
- Epic experience required
- Proficiency in scrubbing and procedural support; ability to use Micropace monitoring for ablations
- Phlebotomy and IV insertion skills; vascular access experience
- Ability to work in an EP lab setting with adult/geriatric patients; able to function in a fast-paced procedural environment
- Orientation is 40 hours; candidates must be able to float as needed and complete background/immunization checks per policy
