Global Concepts Charter School is seeking a Full Time Microcomputer Specialist to provide technical support and assistance to system users and service personnsl,, and repair microcomputer equipment.
Responsibilities include:
Provide Technical Assistance to troubleshoot and resolve user and computer equipment problems as workstations in the school building
Perform minor computer equipment repairs
Assist service personnel in installation of hardware and peripheral components such as monitors, keyboards, printers, etc. following School standards and protocols
Perform diagnostics to help identify software and hardware faults
Report major hardware problems to Senior personnel
Instruct users in use of equipment, software and/or manuals
Provide end user support and diagnostic assistance
Qualifications : Applicants should have a Bachelor's degree and related technical experience; OR Applicants at minimum should be seeking a bachelor's degree in COMPUTER SCIENCE, or MANAGEMENT INFORMATION SYSTEMS. Considerable knowledge of microcomputer software and hardware technology. Strong written and oral communications skills; proved ability to work in teams. Following certifications recommended: Comp TIA+ and / or Cisco CCNA.
