Job Responsibilities

Administrative

1)Assist with planning annual Research Summit, Mitochondrial Transplantation Conference, and Bioenergetics Conference.

2)Place orders for research-related purchases.

3)Draft monthly newsletters.

4)Send out meeting invitations for research meetings.

5)Take meeting minutes.

6)Summarize fund balance reports.

7)Manage scheduling.

8)Clean data in preparation for analysis.

Grants Management

1)Create biosketches.

2)Draft letters of support.

3)Assist with grant submissions in the Grants Management System.

4)Keep track of grants submitted, grants awarded, and upcoming deadlines.

5)Keep track of grant application components as they are completed.

Manuscripts

1)Format and reformat manuscripts for submissions and resubmissions.

2)Copyedit and proofread abstracts, manuscripts, and grant applications.

3)Format references.

4)Create tables and graphs.
