Senior Analyst

: Senior Analyst THE POSITION As a Senior Analyst, you will play a critical role in supporting and advancing Standard Communities' Essential Housing efforts. You will lead complex financial analyses, drive due diligence, and deal execution processes. This role offers the opportunity to engage directly with senior leadership, external stakeholders, and contribute meaningfully to investment strategy and decision-making. What You Can Expect To Do
  • Financial Analysis:

Provide support for financial analysis and underwriting of potential acquisition and development opportunities utilizing Excel.

  • Market Research:

Provide research support utilizing online, internal, and external resources. Data aggregation and analysis will be required. Stay current on industry trends and maintain market awareness in targeted markets through direct research and review of third-party research.

  • Investor Marketing:
  • Assist in preparing investment presentations for investors, government agencies and lenders. Transaction Execution:

Assist in due diligence, coordination of 3rd party vendors, interfacing with lenders and government agencies, preparation of closing statements etc.

Qualifications
  • Master's Degree or Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Economics, Real Estate, or a related field; advanced coursework or certifications are a plus.
  • Have completed advanced Excel courses or training for the following: DCF, Budgeting and Forecast Models, Comps and precedent transactions, LBO (Leveraged Buyout) models, Power Query, advanced functions, scenario analysis, and dashboards etc.
  • 2 to 4 years of related business experience
  • Demonstrated expertise in Excel modeling and financial analysis.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.
  • High attention to detail and an ability to handle complex deal structures.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • A collaborative mindset with leadership potential and a desire to mentor others.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally.
