Global Commercial Manager (Ferrous and NonFerrous)

Location: 590 Duke Rd, Buffalo, NY 14225 (Erie County) *Position requires 40% domestic and international travel. Requirements: Bachelors degree (or foreign equiv) in Metallurgical Engineering, Mining Process Engineering, Mineral Processing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Business Administration, or Marketing + 2 years sales engineering experience in Ferrous and Non-Ferrous industries. Experience is required and must include the following: Developing and implementing strategies to expand market share, strengthen customer relationships, and achieve revenue growth; Contributing to overall product portfolio evolution and revenue growth initiatives in Mining and Industrial sectors; Evaluating current sales channel distribution model and performance; Training and developing agents and distributor network on premium product offering and the value-added sell. Duties: The Global Commercial Manager (Ferrous and Non-Ferrous) increases the adoption of Derrick fine screening technologies in both ferrous and non-ferrous sectors. The position closely with the technical team and external sales channels. Duties include: Responsible for developing and implementing strategies to expand market share, strengthen customer relationships, and achieve revenue growth globally. Travel throughout the assigned region and industry, representing Derrick Corporation and cultivating our valuable client relationships. Identify needs and requirements and apply the appropriate products and services to ensure a valuable partnership between Derrick and its clients. Contribute to overall product portfolio evolution and revenue growth initiatives in Mining and Industrial sectors. Develop, implement, and execute on strategic sales plan to drive revenue growth. Ability to sell based on ROI, TCO, and NPV. Position its regional sales channel with other stakeholders in Derrick Corporation to leverage all resources towards supporting the market. Evaluate current sales channel distribution model and performance. Identify new mutually beneficial representative relationships where required. Train and develop agents and distributor network on Derricks premium product offering and the value-added sell. Provide monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting on sales performance. Travel throughout territory to grow and develop relationships with sales distribution channel as well as end users. Work closely with Process Engineering team to understand and identify most effective solutions for end clients. Build a comprehensive product offering with detailed marketing plan for the region. Develop price list for all products making sure to attain targeted profits and maintain competitiveness. Implement a stocking strategy supporting the market as required. Develop a sales budget and strategic plan. Consistently meet & exceed sales budget targets. Strategically partner with our customers to come up with innovative value-added solutions to make our customers more successful. Support our key accounts to provide strategies and solutions to the market. Develop and maintain a high-level list of strong customer relationships with existing and prospective end users to maintain our competitive positioning and to also provide valuable input on our company supplied products and services. Coordinate and implement customer agreements with pre-approved terms and conditions. Support and conduct high level sales presentations for end users and internal stakeholders. Input on general strategy and business as an active member of the senior sales team. Ability to set, evaluate and execute on KPIs.
