Job Title: BIM Manager
Job Description
This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your expertise and advance your career by leading a project team within a dynamic, mid-sized architecture and engineering firm. As a BIM Manager, you will play a crucial role in shaping how BIM influences project workflows and deliverables, working across all disciplines of the A/E industry on a variety of projects.
Responsibilities

Lead the development, implementation, and enforcement of firm-wide BIM standards.

Establish a strategic roadmap for enhanced BIM integration and quality assurance across all projects.

Collaborate with architects and engineers across all offices to unify modeling workflow and standard practices.

Conduct routine instructional and implementation initiatives with BIM Coordinators in three branch offices.

Evaluate new versions of BIM software annually for adoption and manage routine software maintenance and updates.

Create and update standard details, libraries, and families for use by design professionals.

Ensure compliance with BIM standards and manage data practices for saving and sharing models.

Assist in developing models on project-specific, billable work in the long run.

Communicate progress routinely to corporate leadership.
Essential Skills

Bachelor's degree in architecture, engineering, or equivalent.

Knowledge of design and construction, with an understanding of building assemblies and systems.

Experience producing industry-standard construction drawings for architecture and engineering projects.

Expert proficiency in Revit and MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams), Bluebeam.

Experience using AutoCAD and understanding AutoCAD and Revit integration.

Experience scripting Revit Dynamo and/or Python to automate tasks.

Ability to troubleshoot Revit, AutoCAD, and Autodesk Construction Cloud issues.

Strong attention to detail and pride in modeling work quality.

Minimum of 10 years of experience in a design or production role, or as a BIM Manager.
Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience using virtual videoconferencing platforms for routine education/instruction.

Experience with cloud model hosting BIM360/Construction Cloud.

Experience on K-12 and residential projects, including field surveys and construction drawings.

Familiarity with building codes and architectural design.
Work Environment
This role is primarily based in the Midland Park (NJ) office, with the possibility of working remotely after a 6-12 months onboarding period. The office is located in the middle of the village in Goshen, NY, within walking distance to restaurants and public transportation. The work involves both office-based tasks and field visits as needed. The firm offers a competitive salary, fully paid health and life insurance benefits, overtime pay after 40 hours/week once permanent, HSA Account Plan, up to 5% 401k match, and reimbursement for continued education. Additionally, employees receive 10 paid holidays, 13 days PTO (increasing to 23 days), and an annual bonus based on company profitability.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $90000.00 - $125000.00/yr.

LAN is extremely busy, growing company where there is plenty of room for growth and advancement. - Fully paid firm benefits (health and life insurance), if you waive benefits then you can get a cash stipend of $2,000 (Single), $4,000 (Couple) or $6,000 (Married) - Overtime pay after 40 hours/week once permanent - HSA Account Plan - Up to 5% 401k match - LAN will reimburse 10% of salary for continued education for Architecture or Engineering - 10 paid holidays - 13 days PTO (for the first 2 years), ranging up to a max of 23 days - Typically a year end bonus (based upon profitability of company)
