Customer Service Representative for Local Insurance Agency

If you have exceptional verbal and written communication expertise and have a desire to help people and be very detail oriented, this is for you! Main Responsibilities:

» capability to handle large volume of calls daily

»Process policy renewals, endorsements, cancellations, and re-writes

»Invoice policy transactions using agency management system

»Handle claim related matters with clients and carriers

»Obtain deposit premiums as necessary

»Set up policy review appointments

»Identify cross-sell opportunities

»Input all information into agency/company software systems

»Work effectively with other office personnel

»Conduct job functions in a manner that promotes a high level of customer service

»Supports the agency's core values and basic principles

»Perform other job-related tasks and responsibilities as assigned by agency principles

Requirements: * Valid New York Property & Casualty Insurance license is preferred but not mandatory

»Property and Casualty Agency practice preferred but not mandatory

» capability to multi-task

» capability to independently prioritize workload

»Basic expertise of Microsoft Office Suite (notably Outlook, Word, and Excel)

»Working expertise QQ Catalyst is valuable, but not required

»Excellent verbal, written and typing expertise

»Be a team player with a positive attitude
