Licensed Therapist (LCSW, LPC, LMFT, LMHC Preferred) - Remote

Key Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients through assessments and interviews with individuals, families, and caregivers.

Develop personalized treatment plans tailored to each patient's unique emotional, social, cognitive, developmental, and behavioral needs.

Collaborate with psychiatric professionals, including in-house Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners, for medication management consultations when necessary.

Provide crisis intervention services to ensure the safety and well-being of patients in urgent situations.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical documentation, including treatment plans, progress notes, and medication records.

Stay informed on the latest best practices in psychotherapy by engaging in professional development activities such as reading, attending conferences, and networking with colleagues.

Ensure compliance with ethical, legal, and regulatory standards, including HIPAA regulations.

Conduct both in-person and virtual therapy sessions based on patient needs and organizational requirements.

Qualifications and Skills

Master's or Doctorate degree in a mental health-related field (Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, etc.).

Completion of all required New York State training, including BLS, ACLS, and Infection Control Training.

Minimum of one year of experience working as a licensed therapist.

Full licensure in New York State preferred (LCSW, LPC, LMFT, LMHC).

Additional certifications (ABA, DBT, CBT, EMDR) are a plus but not required.

Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems preferred.

Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English is an advantage but not mandatory.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in an interdisciplinary team.
