Catholic Health is seeking a Board-Certified Colorectal Surgeon to serve as Chief of Colorectal Surgery at St. Catherine of Siena Hospital. This is a unique leadership opportunity to build, grow, and shape a high-quality colorectal surgery program within a well-established, fully integrated health system serving Long Island.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the colorectal surgery program at St. Catherine of Siena Hospital

• Expand access to advanced colorectal care, including minimally invasive and robotic surgery

• Collaborate across the system to enhance quality, outcomes, and patient experience

• Support growth of endoscopic and surgical services

• Mentor and collaborate with surgical colleagues and multidisciplinary teams

• Contribute to strategic planning and service line development

• Participation and support of Catholic Health System NAPRC MDT

Qualifications

• Board-Certified or Board-Eligible in Colon and Rectal Surgery (ABCRS)

• Completion of an ACGME-accredited General Surgery residency and Colorectal Surgery fellowship

• Eligible for or currently holding an unrestricted New York State medical license

• DEA license (or eligibility)

• Demonstrated expertise in robotic, laparoscopic, and endoscopic techniques

Salary- $575K+

This range serves as a good faith estimate and actual pay will encompass a number of factors, including a candidate's education, training, skills, licensure and certification, competencies and other relevant experience. The salary range listed does not include any bonuses or incentive pay or other forms of compensation that may be applicable to this job and it does not include the value of benefits.
