Clinical Systems Implementation Specialist
Kforce has a client in NYC that is seeking a Clinical Systems Implementation Specialist to support the design, build, and deployment of key clinical ordering applications within a large healthcare environment. This role focuses on implementing complex order management workflows, guiding analyst teams, and ensuring smooth integration with clinical and operational systems. The position is primarily remote, with occasional on-site work as needed. Responsibilities:
- Lead and support full-cycle implementation activities for Epic Orders and related applications, including analysis, design, build, testing, and go-live support
- Translate business and clinical requirements into clear functional and technical specifications
- Guide and support analysts in workflow design, configuration, and best-practice system use
- Collaborate across clinical, technical, and vendor teams to ensure seamless system integration
- Serve as a subject matter expert on order management workflows, configuration, and system functionality
- Support requirements documentation, testing cycles, change management, and deployment activities
- Provide end-user support, troubleshoot issues, and participate in optimization initiatives
- Contribute to mentoring, knowledge sharing, and process-improvement efforts
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related field, or equivalent experience
- Current Epic certification in Orders and/or Bugsy (required)
- 5+ years of Epic implementation experience within a large healthcare organization
- Experience supporting clinical order workflows and related system functionality
- Familiarity with integration points, third-party systems, and clinical decision support
- Strong analytical, communication, and documentation skills
- Experience with multiple full lifecycle implementations preferred
- Clinical background is a plus
