Director of Product Development Remote (NJ) - 5931

We have a position open for a Product Development Director who is excited about presenting new drugs to the Animal Health market with a unique, global company. This role will help to identify assets for product development.

The incumbent will lead the technical aspects of building the product development pipeline and will provide technical leadership throughout the negotiation process. The ideal candidate is a thought leader who is able to focus on bettering existing processes and creating new processes that further enhance the projects assigned to the organization. This position also carries the responsibility of the delivery of outcomes through influence, coaching, and corrections with team members, as well as building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Other responsibilities include overseeing the regulatory approval process and providing status update to Board, Executive Leadership, and Investors as needed.

Qualifications include: PhD in chemistry or biology and/or post-graduate qualification in pharmaceutical science and management or a business studies discipline. Other qualifications include 20 years+ of commercial experience, preferably in animal health and Chemistry, Manufacturing and Control. Demonstrated expertise and knowledge in biology, chemistry, regulatory affairs, and product development are needed. Strong examples of contributions toward approved pharmaceuticals in the US and/or EU. Exceptional commercial, financial, and business acumen. Highly collaborative, initiating and maintaining engagement with colleagues across all business units. Successful technical leadership background. Strong project management, planning and organizational skills.
