Marketing Coordinator

As a Marketing Coordinator, you will play a vital role in sharing the company’s story, strengthening local relationships, and supporting business growth. This position offers the opportunity to blend creativity, organization, and field-based storytelling, working closely with leadership and staff to translate on-the-ground expertise into clear, educational marketing that builds trust and drives long-term relationships. Local travel is required for job site visits, events, and community engagement opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Plan, create, and execute local marketing initiatives to connect company expertise with homeowners and the community.
- Manage and grow the company’s social media presence across Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and Google Business Profile.
- Develop and maintain a content calendar aligned with seasonal services, local conditions, and company priorities.
- Capture photos and short-form videos at job sites, events, and in the field to highlight real work, people, and results.
- Write, schedule, and publish educational posts that reinforce expertise and reflect brand values.
- Monitor social media engagement, respond to comments and messages, and report insights to leadership.
- Plan and execute email communications to existing customers, including seasonal reminders, educational content, and service updates.
- Coordinate messaging with the service calendar and seasonal priorities, ensuring consistency in voice and branding.
- Create and publish blog content in collaboration with staff and leadership, supporting seasonal services and homeowner education.
- Repurpose blog content for social media and email campaigns.
- Identify, recommend, and coordinate local events, sponsorships, and speaking opportunities aligned with the target audience.
- Attend and represent the brand at select community and industry events, coordinating booth setup, materials, and signage.
- Manage post-event follow-up and help evaluate event ROI.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in social media management, local marketing, or content-focused marketing roles.
- Strong writing skills with the ability to translate technical topics into clear, homeowner-friendly language.
- Comfortable capturing photos and short-form video in the field.
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple content streams and deadlines.
- Self-motivated and comfortable working independently while collaborating with a small, experienced team.
- Interest in environmental stewardship, sustainability, or science-based services is a strong plus.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel locally.
