School Description:
An established international school in Cairo is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Chemistry Teacher to join its Science Department. The school follows the American Curriculum and offers pathways including General, Honours, and potentially AP Chemistry. It places strong emphasis on practical laboratory work, critical thinking, and problem-solving within a well-resourced international setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality Chemistry lessons at High School level, including General, Honours, and potentially AP Chemistry
• Plan and conduct engaging, inquiry-based laboratory experiments in line with safety regulations
• Teach core Chemistry concepts such as chemical reactions, stoichiometry, thermodynamics, atomic structure, and organic chemistry
• Assess student progress using varied assessment methods and provide clear, constructive feedback
• Maintain strong classroom management and a safe, collaborative learning environment
• Contribute to Science Department planning, curriculum development, and resource review

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or a related Physical Science field (Master’s preferred)
• Recognised teaching qualification or valid teaching licence (US, Canada, or equivalent)
• Proven experience teaching Chemistry within the American Curriculum
• Strong practical laboratory skills and knowledge of safety procedures
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain complex concepts clearly
