Product Manager, Product Management, Paramount Advertising
Overview & Responsibilities
The Advanced Advertising team is looking for a versatile and highly motivated Product Manager with strong data and analytics skills to join our team. Our agile team manages and develops cross platform advertising tools for all our Paramount brands. The Product Manager will collaborate with diverse groups across Paramount and is responsible for maintaining product roadmaps, requirements, and moving the products forward in terms of features and functionality. This role will report to the Director, Product Management, Paramount Advertising.
Responsibilities:
- Work with the Ad Sales, Research, Marketing, Planning, and other teams to understand their business needs as well as maintaining close relations with the groups
- Detailing specifications and product requirements from your conversations with stakeholders
- Drive execution with Engineering and Design—run agile ceremonies, unblock, and ensure high-quality delivery.
- Help foresee and resolve issues that affect development timeline
- Help drive adoption of products by introducing new products and features to our internal stakeholders
- Act as a liaison between business owners and the Product development team
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or higher, or equivalent experience
- 4+ years of product management experience, preferably in an advertising or media context
- Ability to conduct thorough data analysis to inform product decisions and strategy
- Comfort with data-driven decision-making (SQL or BI tools; running experiments; interpreting product analytics).
- Knowledge of cloud and data warehouse technologies
- Excellent communication skills with executives, engineers, designers, and customers
Additional Qualifications
- Capability to develop product strategies and efficiently communicate recommendations to management
- Creative problem-solving skills, including the ability to articulate high-level technical solutions
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to comprehend and break down technical documentation provided by vendors and partners
- Experience using agile methodologies
- Familiarity with JIRA and Confluence
- Experience in linear and digital TV measurement and reporting tools

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Hiring Salary Range: $100,000.00 - 115,000.00.
The hiring salary range for this position applies to New York City, California, Colorado, Washington state, and most other geographies. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education. The benefits available for this position include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, tuition assistance program and PTO or, if applicable, as otherwise dictated by the appropriate Collective Bargaining Agreement. This position is eligible to earn sales incentive compensation.
