Our client is a real estate firm. They seek a temp to perm Leasing Admin Assistant to join their Bronx, NY office.

Responsibilities

  • Screen applicants for eligibility by collecting documents to prepare detailed applicant files
  • Perform annual tenant income certifications as required by government agencies and programs
  • Prepare rent rolls and reports to demonstrate compliance status with regulatory requirements
  • Review tenant files and company records in preparation for audits by government agencies
  • Assist with the marketing and leasing of vacant apartments as necessary
  • Debrief tenants on tenancy requirements and manage and track information in databases

Requirements

  • 2+ years of leasing reality experience
  • Real estate office background
  • Knowledge of the NYC affordable housing program
  • Highly organized, motivated, and detail-oriented
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Certified in Low-Income Housing Tax Credits (Quadel) is a plus
  • Bilingual in Spanish and English is a plus
