Location: Williamsville, NY

Hire Type: Direct Hire

Pay Range: $60,500 - $100,000

Work Model: Onsite

Work Shift: Monday – Friday, standard business hours

Nature & Scope:

Imagine Staffing is recruiting for a Financial Accountant on behalf of our client in the energy sector, located in Williamsville, NY. This direct hire opportunity provides a competitive salary, a comprehensive benefits package, and the potential for long-term professional growth.

The successful candidate will play an integral role in preparing corporate financial reports, analyzing financial data, and supporting executive decision-making through insightful reporting and special projects. This position is ideal for individuals with a solid understanding of GAAP and a passion for continuous improvement.

Role & Responsibility:

• Prepare corporate financial statements, SEC filings, regulatory reports, benefit plan documents, and other management reports.
• Analyze financial results and account balances to identify and communicate key variance drivers to management.
• Assist with projects related to new accounting and regulatory guidance, automation of department processes and controls, and executive-level reporting.
• Develop and apply an in-depth understanding of the industry, business segments, and operations to support financial accounting and reporting.
• Complete special projects as assigned.

Skills & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• Working knowledge of U.S. generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills.
• Attention to detail, professionalism, and excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• 1+ years of experience in public accounting (preferred).
• CPA licensure is desirable, but not required.
• MBA or Master’s in Accounting (preferred).
