Ready to make your application Please do read through the description at least once before clicking on Apply.DNA Partners is working with a leading firm to identify a Labor & Employment Partner or Senior Attorney with deep traditional labor law expertise to join its growing New York team.
This is a high-visibility role for a senior attorney looking to step into frontline client leadership and complex labor matters .
What You’ll Do:
- Represent management in arbitrations, grievance proceedings, and collective bargaining negotiations
- Advise on union organizing campaigns, elections, and unfair labor practice charges (NLRB)
- Defend employers in litigation across federal/state courts and administrative agencies
- Counsel clients on compliance with FLSA, Title VII, FMLA, and NY labor laws
- Lead workplace investigations and draft handbooks and policies
- Negotiate and draft CBAs, employment agreements, and restrictive covenants
- Advise on reductions in force, WARN Act issues, and L&E due diligence
- Mentor junior attorneys and contribute to practice group growth
What You Bring:
- 10+ years of traditional labor law experience in a law firm setting
- Strong background representing employers in NLRB matters and union environments
- Demonstrated experience in employment litigation and agency proceedings (EEOC, NYSDHR)
- Admission in New York (NJ a plus)
- Proven ability to manage complex matters and client relationships independently
- Excellent advocacy, drafting, and client-facing communication skills
