Position Overview
We are hiring an experienced Electro-Mechanical Assembler for a manufacturing facility in Bohemia, NY. This role involves assembling, wiring, testing, and troubleshooting electro-mechanical systems and components while ensuring quality and production standards are met.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble electro-mechanical components, subassemblies, and systems
- Interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical instructions
- Perform wiring, soldering, crimping, and cable assembly tasks
- Conduct functional testing and troubleshoot assembly issues
- Inspect completed assemblies to ensure compliance with quality standards
- Maintain accurate production documentation and reports
- Keep work areas organized and follow all safety procedures
- Collaborate with production and engineering teams as needed
Qualifications
- Previous electro-mechanical assembly experience preferred
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
- Experience with wiring, soldering, and hand tools
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a manufacturing environment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet production deadlines
Compensation & Benefits
