Your Journey

• Perform a variety of skilled tasks in the repair and maintenance of the property
• Maintain and troubleshoot equipment associated with guestrooms and public spaces using proper tools and procedures
• Perform assignments as directed by the Director of Engineering
• Perform preventative maintenance when required and assigned
• Repair all malfunctioning mechanic devices
• Respond to repairs regarding carpentry, electrical, plumbing, carpeting, painting, and maintenance
• Respond to guest room calls and assists guests with room issues
• Deliver on guests' expectations and have the desire to create WOW moments
• Perform additional duties as assigned that may be outside the scope of duties, based on business needs

Must Haves

• High School Diploma or equivalent education required; Bachelor's degree preferred
• Minimum one year of job-related maintenance or engineering experience; luxury hotel experience strongly preferred
• Certification from Technical Maintenance Trade School preferred
• Ability to communicate clearly and speak, read, write and understand English
• Must have extensive knowledge and skills of construction trades including electrical, plumbing, drywall, painting, locksmith and carpentry; must have experience with wood touch ups, wood refinishing, and wood repair.

Physical Requirements

• Standing and exerting well-paced mobility for up to 8 hours in length
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. on a regular and continuing basis. Must be able to push and pull carts and equipment weighing up to 250 lbs. occasionally.
• Must be able to bend, stand, stoop, squat, and stretch to fulfill tasks

The pay scale* for this position is $31.88 to $42.51 per hour.
