We believe in connecting everyone to endless, priceless possibilities Overview Mastercard is seeking a dynamic, creative, and globally minded Vice President, People & Capability Business Partner – Marketing & Communications. This role has primary responsibility for advancing a comprehensive talent strategy, which addresses all aspects of the employee lifecycle and organization design and development, in support of business-wide strategic goals and performance. This influential leader will report directly to the Senior Vice President People & Capability – Global Marketing & Communications. The successful candidate will inspire employees worldwide, foster a culture of collaboration and innovation, and develop strategic initiatives that strengthen our organizational values and employee engagement. The portfolio for this People & Capability Partner role includes Brand, Sponsorships, Communications, Consumer Marketing, B2B Marketing and Enablement. The P&C Partner will design and implement strategies and enable support for this key function to support the continued growth. Role- Responsible for the development and implementation of talent strategies and initiatives, and management of people and organization activities for the assigned portfolio.
- Act as a positive cultural change agent, consultant and business advisor to the leadership team, enabling the execution of their business strategies and initiatives.
- Partner with Mastercard’s Centers of Excellence and regional People & Capability Business Partners to develop strategies and initiatives designed to enhance organizational efficiency and effectiveness.
- Serve as an advocate for employees and develop and implement initiatives designed to enhance employee engagement, development, and productivity.
- Manage and perform a wide range of P&C activities including, but not limited to: strategic alignment, leadership development and succession planning, organization design, compensation assessment, talent acquisition, performance management, employee relations management, and employee coaching.
- Partner with Finance to manage the budget and forecasting of expenses related to employees and all other P&C activities.
- Expertise as a People Business Partner supporting global teams
- Experience advising senior business leaders and coaching people leaders and employees to drive strategic people and culture initiatives.
- Ability to work effectively in a highly matrixed organization and develop strong relationships across all levels of the organization.
- Ability to design and articulate a strategic vision and plan, and ultimately, execute those plans with excellence.
- Strong business acumen coupled with efficient project management, negotiation, and influencing skills.
- Highly motivated, self-starter with the ability drive the people and culture agenda with speed, agility and quality.
- Ability to travel domestically and globally, as needed

In line with Mastercard’s total compensation philosophy and assuming that the job will be performed in the US, the successful candidate will be offered a competitive base salary and may be eligible for an annual bonus or commissions depending on the role. The base salary offered may vary depending on multiple factors, including but not limited to location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Mastercard benefits for full time (and certain part time) employees generally include: insurance (including medical, prescription drug, dental, vision, disability, life insurance); flexible spending account and health savings account; paid leaves (including 16 weeks of new parent leave and up to 20 days of bereavement leave); 80 hours of Paid Sick and Safe Time, 25 days of vacation time and 5 personal days, pro-rated based on date of hire; 10 annual paid U.S. observed holidays; 401k with a best-in-class company match; deferred compensation for eligible roles; fitness reimbursement or on-site fitness facilities; eligibility for tuition reimbursement; and many more. Mastercard benefits for interns generally include: 56 hours of Paid Sick and Safe Time; jury duty leave; and on-site fitness facilities in some locations.
