The BRIDGES Program at SUNY Orange is seeking a part-time Instructor for the 2023-2024 Academic Year. BRIDGES is a non-degree campus-located program offering continuing education instruction focusing on the essential expertise for success in life. Working as part of our multi-disciplinary team, the Instructor facilitates BRIDGES workshops for young adults with diverse learning styles and, in tandem with the Academic Coordinator, develops individualized material that promotes student success. Our suite of workshops offer opportunities to master areas of common interest to motivated young adults but fall outside traditional matriculated programming. The mission of this program is to promote a person-centered practice that aligns to the individual's goals.

General Requirements:
Education Required: Associate's degree
practice Required: practice working with students of diverse abilities. Demonstrated capability to tailor facilitation style and interactions with students to provide individualized instruction that meet students individual goals.
Preferred expertise, expertise, Abilities, and Worker Characteristics:
»Bachelor's degree in Education, Occupational Therapy, Psychology, Sociology, Speech Language Pathology or related fields.
»Familiarity with meeting rigorous post-secondary curriculum geared towards acquiring diverse adult life expertise.
Must have availcapability between 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM, Monday through Friday, and reliable transportation.
