We are seeking a skilled Dentist to join our client's practice located just a few minutes Binghampton, New York. This is a very reputable 100% fee for service office. The office sees mostly adult patients with some kids. Their associate is moving soon, so there is a wonderful patient base already established!

As a Dentist, you will be responsible for diagnosing and treating various dental conditions, performing routine check-ups, and educating patients on oral health practices. Your expertise in general dentistry and ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment will contribute to the overall success of our clinic.

Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to determine dental health and treatment needs.
Perform a variety of dental procedures including fillings, extractions, root canals, and preventive care.
Utilize medical imaging techniques to diagnose dental issues accurately.
Maintain strict infection control protocols and adhere to aseptic techniques during all procedures.
Collaborate with dental hygienists and assistants in a four-handed dentistry approach for efficient patient care.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and preventive care strategies.
Keep accurate patient records using Eaglesoft or similar dental software systems.
Stay updated with the latest advancements in dental technology and techniques to enhance patient care.
Skills

Proficient in infection control practices within a dental office setting.
Strong knowledge of general dentistry principles and procedures.
Familiarity with Eaglesoft software for patient management and record keeping.
Excellent patient assessment skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients regarding their treatment plans.
Knowledge of dental terminology and medical imaging techniques relevant to dentistry.
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced dental clinic environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Strong interpersonal skills that foster positive relationships with patients and staff alike.

100% FFS
Seeing a mix of adults and kids
4 or 5 days per week, depending on preference
